Vietnam, a strip of land shaped like the letter “S”, lies on the eastern part of the Indochinese peninsula. It is bordered by China in the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west, the East Sea to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the east and south. Two of Vietnam’s largest rivers, the Mekong in the south and the Red in the north, end at the South China Sea in huge swampy plains called deltas. Vietnam’s mountainous terrain, forests, wetlands, and long coastline contain many different habitats that support a great variety of wildlife. Many rare and unusual animals live in Vietnam, including giant catfish, Indochinese tigers, Saola antelopes, and Sumatran rhinos. Tropical forests once covered most of Vietnam, but logging has reduced the forest cover to only about 19 percent. The government has launched a replanting program in an attempt to restore these woodlands.

- Arrival: Welcome to Hanoi. You will be collected by our local guide at Hanoi Airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 02:00 PM onwards.
- Leisure: Balance of the day at leisure. Meals on your own.

- Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken by cruise shuttle bus to Halong Bay. The drive takes you through beautiful paddy rice fields and mountains of the Red River Delta.
- Cruise: From the harbor, board our boat for a cruise among the limestone karsts rising from the emerald water. Make a stop en route to visit a grotto of spectacular stalactites and stalagmites and anchor for a relaxing swim in a hidden cave. Meals will be served on the cruise.

- Afternoon: Free for games in Fantasy Park or explore Ba Na Hills. 03:00 PM: Back to the cable car and transfer back to Danang. Dinner on your own.
